Welcome Back, New Yorkers

By Elizabeth Kohen | July 1, 2020

We’ve missed you.

Quarantine has had many of us rethinking what home means to us―comfort, room to breathe, a space to learn and create, proximity to necessities, being surrounded by a community of people who care, and the bedrock of our most cherished memories.

We have also been thinking about our place in community and how we can contribute to making our neighborhoods a better place to live for everyone. We have joined protests with our fellow New Yorkers in support of Black Lives Matter and are donating to organizations fighting for racial justice. We would encourage you to consider doing the same.

Our local market is showing early signs of a revival, and we predict that well-priced listings, showcased in their best possible light, will continue to attract buyers seeking value and opportunity. As other states reopen, pent-up demand has invigorated their markets, and we expect Brooklyn will make up for lost time in robust fashion. Manhattanites, Brooklyn is calling. Renters, now is the time.

We will put safety first and follow all Department of State directives. To ensure everyone’s continued good health, our team will wear masks, regularly sanitize our hands and surroundings, practice safe social distancing and get tested for Covid-19 at regular intervals. And if you don’t feel comfortable attending an open house, virtual tours are available upon request for many listings.

As always, we welcome the opportunity to offer you confidential advice and support on your real estate endeavors. Don’t hesitate to contact us.
