This post is really for everyone who loves stationery, regardless of whether you have kids, whether you live in Brooklyn, you’re scouring Brownstone Brooklyn real estate listings in search of your future home, or you simply find yourself in the neighborhood.

A family business of over three decades, KC Arts was founded by two art students in the early ’80s to create a store where fellow artists could connect with helpful, knowledgeable staff. The shop carries a variety of paints, brushes, pens, pencils, crayons and all types of paper, as well as an array of craft supplies—great if your kids are enrolled in art classes. They also have all the stationery goodies you can imagine, kid-specific supplies and crafts, and gift sets. If you happen to have some art you’re looking to display in your home, their custom framing will come in handy too.
