ART BREAK #11 — Brooklyn Artist Lahari Pullakhandam Celebrates Farmers Markets
With this fall Art Break we feature Brooklyn-based artist Lahari Pullakhandam who works across digital and traditional mediums, with a foundation in portrait, landscape and still life painting. Part of an ongoing series inspired by the joy of gathering around what we eat, this farmers market scene blends her love of food, community and seasonal beauty.
Lahari is currently open for commissions and often creates custom pieces that honor personal stories—painting beloved people and pets, meaningful places and cherished objects.
You can check out more of her work on her website and Instagram.
Art Break is an ongoing initiative that encourages us all to take a break and appreciate art in our day-to-day lives. We invite local artists to submit a piece that reflects their Brooklyn experience, while providing them with a break in the form of mini grants to help them pursue their passion.
