This over-sized one bedroom plus den is a true Carroll Gardens classic. Spanning the entire floor of a brownstone, the apartment features beautiful woodwork, ceiling details, and exposed brick. The bedroom can easily fit a queen bed with room to spare, and features French doors giving the option to let the light flow through the entire space. The bonus room off of the bedroom is perfect for either a den or a large walk-in closet. Additional features include light fixtures with ceiling fans, recessed lighting with dimmers, an air conditioner, and an intercom system. The kitchen will be getting a new stove and refrigerator as well.

More about Carroll Gardens ▼
Like its neighbors, Boerum Hill and Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens has elements of both old and new, with new boutiques, eateries, bars, and cafes rubbing shoulders with old-world butcher shops, delis, and bakeries lining Court Street, where the neighborhood's proud Italian-American roots are still evident. With mainstays such as Court Pastry, D'Amico Coffee Roasters, G. Esposito & Sons Pork Store, and Caputo's Fine Foods, Mazzola Bakery, and F. Monteleone Bakery, Carroll Gardens is one of the few neighborhoods where, like in the old country, you can still shop for groceries in piecemeal. One block to the east of Court, Smith Street has, in the last decade, been dubbed "restaurant row." On the peaceful side streets (particularly on the coveted "place" blocks), wide brownstones with unusually deep front gardens that, by law, measure a minimum of 33-feet have been lovingly maintained for generations. An influx of transplants has increased housing demand, and new condo developments have been erected alongside the classic townhouses; real estate prices reflect the demand. The neighborhood is served by the F/G at Carroll Street and Smith/9th Street, New York City's highest elevated subway station.
