Where to Find the Best Brooklyn-Themed Gift Baskets: Supporting Local Businesses and Makers

October 26, 2026

With the holidays approaching, it’s time to start thinking about gifts, and we love championing Brooklyn merchants whenever possible.

Our borough has long been a hub for craftsmanship and innovation, from Young and Smiley’s 1845 licorice venture (which later became Twizzlers in 1929) to the launch of Gretsch musical instruments in 1883, Bazooka Bubble Gum in 1947 and the Brooklyn Flea debut in 2008. While local streetscapes have evolved with a heavier footprint of corporate chains, independent operators still continue doing what they do best on their own terms.

Here are some of the coolest Brooklyn-themed gift baskets and sets that support small businesses, whether you are shopping for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa or any holiday.
