Born and raised in the Midwest, Ashley moved to NYC in 2009 with her husband. They both fell in love with Brooklyn and have happily called it home for the past 16 years — from renting to now owning their Park Slope home together with their fluffy ragdoll cat, Marilyn.

Ashley enjoys taking in the uniqueness of the old brownstone neighborhoods and admiring the beauty of the parks throughout Brooklyn, including gorgeous Prospect Park.

Outside of real estate, Ashley is a professional baker known for her breads, cakes and cookies, as well as teaching baking classes locally.

Favorite Breakfast Spot: Little Purity

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. It’s a cozy little spot with good food and a friendly atmosphere. A perfect place to have breakfast or brunch before heading over to the park.

Favorite Brooklyn Spot: Prospect Park

This is one of the places that made me fall in love with Brooklyn. It’s a great place to sit and relax or go for a leisurely nature walk and enjoy the views.

Favorite Way to Shop: Farmers' Market

Visiting the local vendors at the farmers’ market and taking in the abundance of fresh flowers, baked goods and produce, all under the iconic and beautiful Grand Army Plaza Arch.

Favorite bagel: Olde Brooklyn Bagel Shoppe

A great little bagel spot, with a wonderful selection. My all-time favorite is the egg and cheese on an everything bagel.
