Clinton Hill began as a fashionable retreat for New York City's most prominent industrialists, as evidenced by the opulent homes lining Clinton Avenue (aptly dubbed "Mansion Row"). Today, Clinton Hill is a vibrant neighborhood with a strong sense of community and an accessible small-town feel. Fulton Street, Dekalb Avenue, and Myrtle Avenue serve as the neighborhood's main commercial thoroughfares with exciting new business abound and a booming culinary scene.
